Family Trip in Pictures
This past weekend was wonderful. We have been to Lake Itasca State Park before, but it had to have been at least 15 years since! The weekend consisted of a lot of relaxing, a bit of walking and hiking, grilling, games, cards, ladder golf, rest, and a lot of laughs! Here's a handful of pics from my camera.

Crossing the Mississippi on the slippery rocks means taking your life in your hands! But, it's so pretty there -- I love Itasca.

We were wearing sweatshirts in those pics becuase it was cool that evening, and we were walking through trees that were full of skeeters and horse flies.
And Marcy, yes, that is my mom in the far left.
I agree with Marcy -- your Mom looks just like one of you! And who knew the head of the Mississippi was so lush and blue -- so not like farther down the "stream" at the other end of the country.

BTW....CBS shows some Tour De France coverage on the weekends. Next weekends finale is on Sunday I believe at 1:00 p.m. :-)
