I am currently trying to keep up with Middle Name Marie's 30 Days of Thanks ... so far so good. If interested, feel free to scroll down to view my first few Days of Thanks. On to today....
Day Four: Smiling Children
I work with an array of wonderful children from 8am to 3pm - children with learning disabilities, children delayed cognitively, children with autisim spectrum disorders, children with anxiety disorders, depression, and so forth. So, when I see a child smile while working on something that is extremely difficult for THEM, it makes ME smile. Their smiles melt my heart and reminds me of one of the reasons why I enjoy doing what I do.
What are you thankful for today?

I am thankful for people like you and my father-in-law who work with special needs children.
I admire so much what you do. It is rewarding, but a tough job.
I am thankful today for my mom who came to stay with me and the baby while my husband is away on business. I got much more sleep than I would have without her!
I am grateful right now at this very second at 6:05am for caffeine in my cup of tea. :)
This made me smile. :) You're a good egg, girlfriend.
Awww. I love this. Such a great one today. Happy. Happy. Smiles.
you are awesome.
I have a bloggie friend, whom I came across quite by accident, whose child has autism. I know second hand from her how difficult it is for families to deal with autism, the schools, and society in general. I know those kids and their families are lucky to have you!
I love this one!! I'm definitely grateful for people like you who help these kids and create awareness!! Well done!
I'm loving your 30 Days of Thanks posts! Happy children is a great one. :)
I love smiling children too! Especially, when the smile are on my boys' faces! :)
I'm thankful for teachers like you ;)
Have a great Friday!
I've got a little cousin who's got a bunch of special needs, so I'm thankful for people like you who work with them. It takes a special kind of person to be able to do what you do. Thank you.
