It's just beginning

For those of you who read my post from yesterday.... remember how I said kids are like walking barometers? Well, today they were even worse then yesterday. It's was freakin' out of control today!

It has been raining and windy here in Fargo ND all day. The wind is getting worse. Before leaving work today I was emailed pictures of southwestern part of ND and they have received inches and inches of snow.

Just 2.5 hours west of here, in Bismarck (aka The Bizz), they have already been hit with snow as well... don't believe me? Just check it out here, at Ms. Math's Snapshots.

Hopefully tomorrow I won't be posting pictures of all the snow. I don't think it is supposed to get much below freezing. But, let's not hold our breath. I think the 2008-2009 winter season is just beginning.

There's snow in this weekend's forecast here in Wisconsin. Ugh. Maybe it'll stay the "rain mixed with snow" variety.

Sorry to hear that. Just so you know, it's in the 70s here. (Yes, we desert rats are gloating).

Today it was 75! I hope you don't get snow. Unless, you get to start the weekend early thanks to no school.

Good luck, I know what you are going through with the kids. Most of the time I agree with them and want to go home too!

Oooohhhhhh noooooo.., snow in early November? That is one of the reasons I moved to SoCal.

My friends and I were talking about coming to ND for an AC/DC concert in January...what do you think?

I really hope it doesn't snow for you but it sounds like there's zero hope of that. Stupid kids!

I heard that there were snowflakes yesterday morning in the foothills close to where I live. Definately was cold and windy and blustery. I'm not ready for winter. I want a long dose of autumn!

Things were definitely interesting yesterday and this morning so far.

We've had a few cold mornings, but mostly wet and windy. No threat of snow days on the horizon. Some day I am not sure if its the kids that are crazy, or if I am just easily annoyed.

Oh my gosh - so true about kids. Funny, huh? :) I hope you can avoid snow for a little longer!

Hey TW, oy vey on the wintery weather!!! It was about 58 degrees this morning for my run. I was way overdressed and sweating like a pig. My running clothes stink.

OK, enough. Running in the snow can be cool you know!!!!

The mercury dropped her today too. Still no snow... as for yesterday's post.

Kids are much more in tuned to nature I think, and react accordingly. Maybe we need to tune into that a bit more. :)

Sadly I can say join the club. I'm not ready for winter either but I'm just taking it as it comes.
