Welcome, October!

To start off the month and Octapolluza, I was hoping to get up this morning and hit the gym for a couple miles. I guess getting up and getting it done this morning was a little too ambitious. Instead, I put in a good 9 hours at work and headed home for a nice run before dinner. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. Sunny, 71 degrees, a cool fall breeze no matter which direction I was heading in, and the sound of leaves crunching under my feet!

Today's Workout:
2.48 mile run

Is it raking time there yet? I'm hoping that our one tree in the backyard will hurry up and shed all of it's leaves before it gets too cold. It was about the same temp here today.

Sounds like a great run!

I am missing Fall. Don't get me wrong, I love living in Hawaii..but Fall is my favorite.

I am joining your Octoberfest...I mean polluza! :) The girls and I are heading out to the track for a run.

Not sure about the soda (pop) thing, I had 2 today and I can't have anymore because we are OUT! But it is a comfort thing for me...when I get stressed. I really want to kick the habit...so we will see how long it takes me to get more since the girls are out of school...I would have to take them! Hmmm...how bad do I need it! (and Hubby took the motorcycle to work so he (a at least 6 a day drinker) cna't bring it home!

Sounds like a fun run!!! Mine is going to be hot and sticky!!!

Congrats on the run!

It wasn't so fall-like here in Wisconsin today. Even though it was in the mid-60s, I was dripping like I just got out of the shower when I got home from my run. Yuck.

But it was a good run, and a good way to start off Octapolluza!

Okay, I'm in w/ a vengence. I got 4 miles in today and even went all day without a Diet Coke. It was hard!

Way to get the run in. I love your field picture! Thanks for checking out my blog. By the way, it's in a small town called Milnor, ND. Not too far from Wahpeton (I think I spelled that wrong). Do you know where those towns are? Ever heard of them?

I so wanted to do a run yesterday, but it just didn't happen. I had a conference call at work from 5:30-6:30 and with early dark, when I got home I was tired, it was getting dark and I needed food...so, needless to say, I didn't get a workout in yesterday...sigh...

Sounds like great running weather. And I tell you, you definitely have to start just going over the border for the bars, non-smoking rocks!
