I ran tonight. At the gym. On the thrillmill.
2.5 miles ... only.
I realized a couple days ago, it's probably time for new shoes. I bought my shoes last fall. Maybe that's why I was having troubles with my knees starting in July.
Tomorrow I will spin. And maybe a couple miles on the thrillmill to follow.
Right below, is my real post for the day.
P.S. I am excited because my sister has not only updated her blog, but has been posting regularly!

LOVELY picture! Thanks!
Don't follow by what I do, but I still run sometimes in the first shoes I bought when I started running again...oops...but I don't run super long runs in anything with too many miles on them. Don't know that I notice a difference.
Yeah, those shoes are probably WAY over used. I buy new shoes about every 2-3 months!
I love how you are so excited about me blogging! we will see if I can keep this up...too bad you are the only one reading it : ( I have no blogger friends, and nothing really exciting to write about. haha. you will have to wait and read to see how the house hunting went last night....suspense!
love ya!
Nice job on the run! Very cool the kids are excited and you are excited about it!!!
One way to assess how worn out your shoes are is to take them to the store and put on one old shoe and one new shoe. Then walk around a bit.
Knee problems always signaled me to get NEW SHOES. It's better to stop it before it gets worse.
Overused shoes is one of the biggest reasons for knee/shin etc pains. I learned the hard way. Sounds like you're shopping this weekend for new running shoes.
I just now got caught up on your blog. Very cool posting about your class!
