Exhausted

A few quick notes...

---I am now certified in CPR/AED and First Aid. Like I tell my students, I am certified... I just don't like to practice.

---The 2nd 5AM workout of the week was successful and I was able to get in 2.5 miles, a bit of lifting with the legs and a good ab work.

---My day was long and boring, which isn't always bad, but I had the worse case of heart burn this afternoon. I wanted to cry.

---I am a bit sore in my right leg and I hope it subsides before my long run Saturday. Otherwise I will have to set it back to Sunday and switch things around a bit. I think my IT band might be a little tight causing some discomfort through my lower leg. Currently my ankle area has a real achy feeling. Maybe its just the cold weather. Grr.

---Two 15 hour days in a row doesn't do a body good. Especially when I was up at 430 am. I am completely wiped and heading to bed here soon. At least if I continue to do my early morning workouts next week, I will have empy evenings which will be super duper nice.

Peace out.

Take it easy, kick back on the couch and get a beer ... oh wait, you're not doing that! I hear you on the long days, its almost 9 and I'm just getting ready to head home.

I could have used that training when I had a student have a grand mal seizure in my class. I didn't know how to help but I did keep my cool while I got the right people to the room. Argh.

That's great you are CPR qualified! just in case (God forbid) you need it one day. Hopefully not.

I hear you on the early morning workouts. I was just telling my hubby that we both need to alternate morning workouts so we can get housework and spend time with Grace in the evenings more. It really does start the day off well, IMO.

Great job on doing it, and keep up the routine!

Rest is certainly well deserved. :)

My CPR/1st Aid has expired... really need to look into renewing. Fortunately, I never had to use it!

oh.my. You really are just about 100 degrees colder than where I'm sitting at now (patio door open so I can get the breeze in... sorry for that salt in your wound).

You poor thing... I cannot even imagine! Do you have to plug in your car when you go places? I've always been intrigued by that :)

I wish I had it in me to work out before work. I think I'd have to get up at 4:30 or so and I just can't fathom that. Maybe one of these days . . .

Take it easy there. It's awfully cold to be going that hard to. Don't get to run down. Do I sound like a mom. sorry. :D

Hang in there, polar bear. It's got to let up soon.

Wow, that is exhausting sounding to me!! I don't care that sometimes it's pathetically early to go to bed at 8/8:30...figure if my body is tired, it is telling me it wants sleep!
