All this flexibility will allow me to come back home a bit more and stay longer. It sure helps when you are in a relationship with someone who lives 200 miles away.
This past Thursday morning I took my parents puppies out for a run. I knew it wasn't going to be anything fast as they seem to have only one speed, and that's super slow. The weather was warm, and I knew there'd be a lot of walk breaks so I grabbed my camera. I figured I share with you all a little piece of North Dakota in July..... all these photos are taken near my parents house, just outside the city limits. Spaces are a little more open and very green.
Gotta love summatime in Nodak!

Those pics look pretty! Sometimes my short dog, Fiona, for a short run. She has one speed, as well. And when she is done, she simply plops down on the pavement and rolls on to her back. Almost like she is surrendering. :)
Looks pretty!
Nice photos. The shadow one is my favorite.
your pictures made me smile. :-)
Go North Dakota! I'm almost tempted to visit that state;-)
My husband is homesick for North Dakota. I'd better not share your pictures with him. He's scheduled a trip back to Bismarck for later in the summer, but unfortunately, I can't go....I will be a month from my due date, which is a little too close for comfort!
Glad you still have more summer left for relaxing :)
Glad you're enjoying summer break so far! *jealous* Looks some some great running routes back home.
Great photos!!!
That sure is a lot of green. Awesome!
Wow, not at all what I'd pictured for North Dakota. Beautiful!!!
Great photos! Enjoy the time off!
BEAUTIFUL!!!! Hope you enjoy your time off before all the craziness stars again.
Totally wish I had summers off!! Love the pictures - must have been a great walk!
LOL... I remember when my old dogs were with us on the way to Mobile when we broke down on the interstate. The little fatties couldn't walk a quarter of a mile before I had to pick them up and CARRY them!
Great pics!!
Glad you're enjoying your summer...it sure looks nice where you are:)

Look at how green everything is! And those walking companions are adorable.
What a pretty place to run! You have some great scenery.
Gorgeous! I love running in beautiful open places like this. I'm glad you're enjoying your time off! My few days off this weekend for the wedding was such a tease!
Gorgeous pics! Glad you are enjoying your time off.
I decided to blog on the honeymoon so we'll remember everything- the key is that I wake up a few hours before Eric every morning (especially with the time change) so I am going to get it in then :)
