- Getting Strep Throat and being knocked on my rear for over a week. I was barely able to get off the couch and get to work, let alone to the gym and doing any sort of workout.
- No yoga! What? I had such good intentions and then never did it!
- 1 swim? gasp!
Goals for the Month of February:
- Cut out soda - completely
- Today marks the beginning of following a Half Marathon Training schedule, in hopes of doing one in May.
- Get my ars back into the pool!

How did January look for you? What are you looking forward to this month?

January was successful for me (but not according to your stats - great job!)
I got the Tri-bug, but I am researching the right bike now. This makes me nervous because the first and only spin class I did hurt... hurt like I could barely walk for a week and not my legs).
My goals for February are to official decide on a Sprint Tri, get a bike (and probably padded pants) and get out there.
Also to go strong with P90X as our personal training ends tomorrow.
I'm ready!
January was very good to me!!! I am looking forward to getting stronger with my training this month :-) I hope you have a wonderful day!
Glad to hear you are running injury free!!! January marked a continued increase in mileage for me. February begins my race season, so I'm looking forward to some speed work in the form of racing.
Great month!
I feel my January was a success. I'm ready for February!
Good work this month! Good luck with your February goals... I should kick soda myself. I did it for a week and then I saved. :/
good work on the training totals especially because you were sick. good luck for this month. keep it up.
My goodness, I can't imagine trying to do so many different sports...good for you! Especially after having strep! You had a great month!! Now go kick some February butt!!
Great job! I haven't started swimming yet for the year and I am just kinda being lame with the bike too! I am posting my January review this week!
Ohhhh, I hope you stay well this month! Isn't it crazy how being sick totally sets you back?
Things this month I'm excited for... adding in yoga and getting back to the pool too! (only one lap swim in this town 5:30-6:30am. I need a lession in HTFU to get up at 5!)
I hear ya on the yoga goal! I've tried to make it one of mine for a while and realized with the training time it takes for the swim, bike, run...it was hard to fit it in!
So I've taken baby steps and try and do a few yoga poses here and there post work out, or 10 min b4 bed...y'know warrior, upward dog, tree pose...;-)
wow, that's a fantastic january! well done girl.
Sounds like you had a good month! I'm impressed at how much variety you get in, which I think is really important.
P.S. I'm hosting a giveaway on my blog if you're interested in checking it out!
I hate when getting sick messes up training! Yay for kicking off some half marathon training! I know you'll rock this cycle and the race in May!
Holy crap, I am tired just reading your total run down of January!!! Go you!! Good job and keep it up:)
I still look at January as an off season month and a building month - mainly building the umph to get back into it1 I'm looking forward to a better February! :)
Keep us updated on the Legs Do It Challenge!
A winter month. With the weather and being sick, is surprising you got anything done. Heres to February.
Good job! Impressive stats even if you hadn't been sick!
great way to get your 2010 started!!
January went by so fast, it's hard to believe. I seem to be doing okay keeping this precarious balance of work and training and other fun stuff going, but I could use a little more calm in February. Especially since it's my birthday month! Yep, I give myself a whole month - cause I'm that good. :)
Yeah for half marathon training! What race are you going to run? Congratulations on starting off the year injury free!
Holy smokes. That is one awesome month!
Great job on your January totals and so glad that you're running injury free!
My Jan went splendidly, thankyouverymuch. Cut out ALL carbonation except beer. NEVER GIVE UP BEER :-)
Great month!
Sounds like a solid month, even with being sick.
Looks like January was a great month! Yeah for staying injury free!
Which half are you thinking of doing?
1000 meters tho for ur one swim! ww!
I think you did great in January - especially being sick for a week.
Hmm, I am looking forward to being done with this god awful test and being able to get back out there and workout! I feel like I am turning to mush.
Yeah, Yoga always gets dropped for me too. Maybe explains the ITBS sidelining me. My January has taught me that less is more and that my fitness is higher than I thought it would be. I can still do the long workouts but I suffer later. Lol
Great January numbers! I was sick for a lot of January too, no fun!
This month I'm looking forward to making little, important things (such as flossing) habits and one month closer to spring weather!
I have a hard time getting myself int he pool when it's cold out- so I had no swims in January, sad haha.
Where do you take your Body Pump classes?
