With this award, I am supposed to tell you 6 random things about myself. She did her post based on a theme - six random things from her weekend, and as much as I wanted to do a theme as well, I just couldn't think of anything so you get stuck with 6 random things about myself (again):
- Hello, my name is Stacy, and I am a Caribou Coffee Addict. Someone please help me, an intervention needs to be set in place immediately.
- I thrive on organization, but when things get too messy, I have no idea where to even start and tend to let things pile up until I HAVE to take care of them.
- Some might say I am a procrastinator as well (looking at above point). But, the busier I am, the more productive I am. (The same goes with my workout schedule)
- Last night we had our second night of parent teacher conferences. As a special education teacher, I look forward to these nights primarily because I only have 4 or 5 15-minute conferences each night and then get to use the rest of the evening to get paperwork done. Sorry classroom teachers, but this is one time that I don't feel bad for getting extra time to finish the piles and piles of paperwork.
- I swam 2500 Yds in the pool yesterday morning... in less than an hour. Booyah! It was one of my favorite workouts with sprints, tarzan swimming (head above water), using paddles and pull bouy, and fins.. fins are my fav!
- I am looking forward to having the next two days off as part of our midwinter break... yeah, we call it a midwinter break here in NoDak. Nothing like dragging out the winter, in March.
Time to pass on the love: Since I know this has been going around blogland for a while and don't know who has and hasn't received this gawgous award, consider yourself tagged if you haven't received it yet!
Happy Hump Day, y'all!

I'm way more productive and organized when I have a ton going on. Enjoy a few extra paperwork minutes.
If this is the "middle" of winter, you need to move!! :)
Congrats on the great swim!
You deserve to have extra time for your paperwork. I still can't get over how much of it special education teachers have.
Doing anything fun for your midwinter break?
I have tons of paperwork in ESOL too, but nothing compared to your IEPS :-) I hope you have a great day!
Hi Stacy,
I am also a Caribou Coffee Addict...I hear that it is best to admit it and come clean:) So this is good that we are being honest with ourselves!! It is my favorite coffee shop hands down:)
Nice job on your swimming..you are doing so good with your workouts:)
Wes is going to love seeing....Happy Hump Day, y'all!! You are sounding like a southern belle:) Have a great day Stacy!!
Just had to say Hats of to you chica and being a spec ed teacher. I can only imagine all the IEP paperwork you have to do!!;-)
What grade level do you teach? I teach special ed K-3rd!
We have conferences this week and I love having NONE! I don't feel bad at all because of all the work I do for IEP's and PPT's.
Special Ed Rules :)
Nice job on the swim workout, and have fun on your short break. Maybe you can use part of it to get organized again?
Nice job on the swim. I've used fins once or twice before and man do they make you go fast!
Ha!! middle of winter. Move to CA!
2500 yards in under an hour is fantastic. What's your secret (other than lots of laps)?
Enjoy your time off! You deserve it! :)
I'm a coffee addict in general. I don't discriminate based on where it's from :)
I am addicted to coffee too! I was going to give it up for lent but my co-worker asked me not too, haha.
Also, I am totally with you on #3...I always do better when busy and under pressure.
I love fins :)
Great list!
I definitely need things to be organized too.
Glad you got to catch up on paper work. I was a school counselor before going back to school and remember well all of the paperwork special ed. teachers had to do.
WTG on knocking out the paperwork!
Enjoy your time off!
I think your super ambitious and you always inspire me with your workouts!!
