I have received some questions for my Q&A post after the fact and I would be willing to do another post if I can get enough questions to do so! Soooo... if you would like to know more about me, throw me another question... or a handful and I hope to get the answers posted early next week! Just leave me your questions in this post!

The fight against the Red River flooding is in full force again here in Fargo, North Dakota. Earlier than last year .... and earlier than anybody expected. Things to prepare for this fight have been put into motion earlier, as the city/area now seems to know what needs to be done to prepare for this, again.
A couple weeks ago they talked of how we needed a slow melt - it was okay to reach above freezing during the day but temps needed to be below freezing during the night. We had that for a while, until the past week. Then, add in a few days of rain and drizzle and that hasn't helped at all.
Saturday will be the day. That is the day the Red River is expected to crest again - in less than 5 days. Convoys of trucks carrying sandbags (or clay for the dikes they are building) are being escorted by police. Our Mayor is telling everyone to stay out of their way otherwise he is threatening to shut down local businesses. That was a huge controversary last year.
Supposedly we have plenty of sandbags put together right now, but need the people to go out to the specific sites and start tossing. I remember how overwhelming and emotionally draining this situation was last year and hope that this year we can fight it again. People at work are already talking about whether or not we will have school next week.
It just seemed like yesterday that we were filling sandbags in the Fargodome for hours...

Oh man, all the flooding going on everywhere is so scary right now!
I can't imagine dealing with this (and worrying about it) every year. My thoughts go out to all of you - here's hoping for the best!
I am with Wes!! Good luck to you...hopefully it will not be as bad as they think. Take care!
Oh man thinking about all of you and keeping my fingers crossed!
gosh I can't believe it's happening again. I totally remember reading about this last time on your blog. Hope things turn out ok
Wow...I can't even imagine. I hope the flooding doesn't turn out to be as bad as expected.
My parents live norhtwest of Fargo, in MN, and my mom told me about the potential flooding. Geez, seems like every year now!
I remember running the Fargo marathon last year after all of the flooding. I hope the region is spared this year. I'll be thinking about you and everyone up there!
Crossing my fingers for you guys and hoping it turns out to be not as bad as they're expecting!
I really hope this spring treats everyone a little better than last year. It's hard to enjoy the nice weather when there's so many problems to worry about.
Okay - two questions"
* Is you hair naturally curly?
* Do you have to plug your car in when you shop b/c it is so cold there?
* Which part of the tri is your fave?
Keeping our fingers crossed and hoping that the flooding doesn't happen!
I think you guys just do this to get into the news... Can't you just divert the water to Minnesota?
We are having the same issue because of all the snow melt and rain, our lakes and rivers are over flowing
Can't believe how often it floods there. Stay safe
Oh no, is it time for that again? Hope you are able to stay safe over there!
I hope it doesn't get too bad for you! There has been a lot of flooding here in the NE from the rainstorm we got over the weekend. I'm very thankful that I live in the city and haven't had to deal with it but I feel horrible for anyone who has to deal with flooding.
Good luck!
Scary! Good luck and hope it's not as bad as predicted.
Scary!! Stay safe!
