In the pool: I am a numbers freak and keep track of everything workout related; time, distance, etc. In the pool, my time is based on how long I was in the pool, including the time I was swimming and the breaks. Thus, my time per 100M is usually around 2:30 average. However, today I was feeling pretty good. I got in, looked at the clock, and swam 800M, and checked the clock. I took a minute break and then did it again. I know the time is still a rough estimate, but I feel my time today is more accurate than it usually is. I was quite pleased with my second 800M. I wanted to go for another round but didn't have time before lap swim was over. (I need to get my heart rate monitor watch battery replaced and then my time will be even more accurate.)
OSN: 1600M, 32:00, 2:00/100M average
800M - 17:00, 2:07/100M
800M - 15:00, 1:52/100M (getting better!!!)

On the Move: I hope to get some packing done this weekend. I have empty boxes all over my apartment and it only makes sense to start filling them, little by little with things I won't need for the next few weeks. I figure if I do a little here and there, it won't be so overwhelming.
I ran some errands this morning looking for ideas for my master bathroom/bedroom. I am struggling with colors for the walls in both. I would like to kind of tie the two together, but I don't want it to be too matchy matchy. I don't want to have to get new bedding just so it matches my room, so I am trying to make this choice based on the color of my comforter. Right now I have black accents on my bed and in my room, but I am thinking about the paint colors of brown hues or even grey in my bedroom and then what in the bathroom? Thoughts?

Twins Territory: Last night wasn't too pretty and I am glad I was out and about and not able to watch it. Thankfully Cleveland beat the Sox and the Twins are still up half a game. I'll be watching this afternoon and hoping for them to beat the Royals.

Thanks for your comment! Isn't it difficult to keep your eating in check when you're running out first thing and running during lunch? There just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day. Dinner is often an unwise choice for me because I'm SO tired. I'm trying to plan a little more wisely this week!
I think browns or the fresh, neutral greens are the way to go.
So excited for you and your new house. Moving is SUCH a pain normally, but into YOUR house is AMAZING!
Yay!! Your swimming has really come a long in a very big way. 15 minutes is a terrific time for 800m. Good for you! Keep up the great work! :o)
i love that kate perry song! great work out music!
Nice job with the swim! That is a motoring 800 meter time...especially for the second one!
Good luck with the packing.
A Twins fan, eh? Maybe we'll chat if they face the Dodgers!
I think I'll let you do my swimming for me, see the rock on the bottom of the pool..that be me...good luck on the packing
Way to go on your swimming!
Very exciting about your move. Good luck with packing - not fun, huh?
I seriously need you to come be my swim coach!
I was gonna suggest brown, based ont he color of the comforter in the pic. Chocolate brown and blue go so well together! You could do a dark, choco brown in the bedroom and then do a lighter shade of brown, like a tan, in the bathroom, and they could easily compliment each other.
I'm not one to ask on paint colors, since I can't make up my mind for the walls in our house! I can't wait to see/hear what you decide!
Great job on the swim. Packing and unpacking is the worst! Good luck with the move. I think decorating is hard. We have been in our house for 3 years now, and I still need to do some decorating!
Nice job with the swimming!!
That is a super breakthrough on the swimming! So fantastic!
Good luck with the packing. It is never fun, but when your moving into you first house fun it is :-)
i am a numbers freak too :) great job on the swim!!
hot and cold is one of my new fav running songs :)
good luck with the move! i am always completely packed weeks in advance and always need something out of boxes and cant find it :)
Wow!! Look at you becoming a fishy in the pool!! Way to go, girl!!! Have fun moving (in jest ;-) but I know its exciting for you!!
Great job on your swim! Progress is nice, eh? I have no suggestions for you on painting. I haven't done any since I moved in two years ago. Maybe about a year ago I bought a couple of testers from Benjamin Moore, but I still haven't tried them out!
Packing slowly is the only way to do it. Good luck!! Remember packing and moving counts as weight training AND cardio!!
