Wonderful Weather

Yesterday's post may not have been the most positive, but today was a good day, overall! I knew the weather was going to be nice; nicer than yesterday. So I had it set in mind that I was going to take advantage of that and run outdoors. As I sat in my last meeting of the day, I watched as the clock slowly clicked from 3:35 to 4:10 itching to get out of the building. As I was clearing off my desk and packing my bags to go home I quickly checked the weather:

44 degrees, FEELS LIKE 38 with a slight breeze. Perfect.

A part of me almost got a wild hair up my butt, thinking I would do my long run of 9.5 miles instead of just my normal quick loop. But, I was hungry and I didn't "prepare" for that kind of run so I brushed it off. Next time.

I must say, I truly love running in ND this time of year. The snow is melting, the puddles are everywhere, the snow banks that do remain are covered in sand from the winter giving the look as if Fargo was used it to wipe some big creature's ass, but the temps are almost perfect! I sit here typing this post with my patio door open and the sound of screaming kids outside. Won-der-ful!I am going to finish working the kinks out of my bracket here and head over to the site Jess put together for a blogland bracket! Come join if you are interested! Later... American Idol!

ORN: 2.45 miles
29:32
12:03/mile

Hmmm I'm not sure why you're having problems logging in. Did it let you type in the user name and password and all that and then just stop working there?

That happened to me too when I tried to register the other day, and now I can't remember what I did to fix it...I played around with it for a little...and then it worked..sorry that's so unhelpful

Definitely a wise decision, but I love the bravado! It will come in handy during the half mary :-) Enjoy the changing season!! ND style ;-)

I swear, I think there's a true twinkle in those piercing blue eyes of yours. Spring is about to be sprung, it appears.

You've certainly given new meaning to those dirty piles of snow that are left. I will be chuckling all day. :D

Ah...I tend to turn shorter runs into longer runs all the time, sometimes I regret it, but sometimes I don't...

Screaming kids...hmm...not sure I could tolerate that as background noise!!

You look a little red in the pic - hahaha! I was so excited for an AI Beatles night! Unfortunately none of them did very well with the songs they chose. But man doesn't it make you realize just how many fricken awesome songs the beatles have! LOVE THEM!!!! Anywhoo, if you have questions about a savings account let me know. I think its a great way to earn a little interest, and like I said no min. balance! Have a good hump day!!!

I'd be COLD in that temps, but I'd wind up enjoying it. I like running in the 40's. There's just something about it that I like.

Sorry about spelling your name wrong. I get my name spelt wrong all the time, and typically understand it but dont care for it, so I especially hate to spell other peoples names wrong. Sorry. Glad you told me!!! :-)
