The Big Move

This weekend went fast and was full of hard work and some good "togetherness" with the family!

Friday we arrive in the cities to help my sister and her husband move into their first home. We packed up the truck, drove to another suburb of minneapolis, and unloaded the items in the truck into the garage!!

Saturday we were up and went to work right away; taping and laying plastic in almost every room on the main floor. There was a lot of painting that needed to be done!

Even Deja was tired before we started!

We were given a mandatory lunch break and took advantage of the warm 70 degree weather out on the patio. .... and then back to work we went!

the new homeowners

After a long day of painting, we closed out the evening with some unpacking of kitchen things. This morning I was very sore... from my calves up to my butt. It must have been from climbing up and down the ladder numerous times, as well as carry boxes up and down stairs...

....congrats to Steph & Blaine on their first home!
On a side note, I have not done squat for Octapolluza in the past three days. Does climbing stairs and ladders and as well as painting count for something? Tomorrow I will be back in the pool!

I definitely think that cross-training you've done counts.

If it leaves you sore, yes it certainly counts for something! Strength training!

Well considering that I was thinking wallpaper stripping as CT, painting is MOST def CT :-)

It's been a tough weekend for both of us with Octopulluza...if I can count dancing at the bar as my workout you can definitely count helping the family move in!

Sometimes life gets in the way of our grander fitness plans.
