If you have a time goal, personally I prefer Higdon...he goes a bit harder, and different levels. Runner's world has a program you can use to put in the time (supposed to be what you finished last one at, I put my goal time in) and it creates a semi custom plan. Kind of a nice one.Daniellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17638725150045549860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5285752857039221790.post-40031037266425547172008-02-20T19:48:00.000-06:002008-02-20T19:48:00.000-06:00I followed Hal Higdon's plan for my half marathon ...I followed Hal Higdon's plan for my half marathon and I liked it. That will be very special.

I like the first plan too, like Marcy, cause it's 3 days a week and while doing tri training and race training, it just worked. However, I did modify it - I don't put as much into the running (speedwork/tempos) as it says. So, I have a modified version of the plan.Mendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00968363500551483010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5285752857039221790.post-3327290507718363482008-02-20T14:18:00.000-06:002008-02-20T14:18:00.000-06:00The lake course looks spectacular! Good luck finding what you like.

Re: your question on hotels, I'd be happy to give you tips.
